My work consists of transparent watercolor paintings on 140 pound arches paper and soft pastel paintings on various papers. I work from life and use sketches, drawings, watercolor studies and original photographs to complete paintings in the studio. Still Life compositions are composed and finished in the studio. Professional framers custom frame each piece[unless otherwise noted] using archival materials and clear conservation glass treated to block ultraviolet light. I choose each of three mats, determine the mat footprint and select the custom frame. Only original works are available.
Correctly accused and creatively possessive of being a "self taught artist", I remain emancipated by the endorsement of my clients, I embrace and energetically express the rights of my self authored [and copyrighted] "artiSTICK License". Presently over 100 framed works are available for purchase.I maintain membership in numerous art organizations and participate in juried competitions, shows, and exhibits. Studio/gallery visits are offered by appointment both in Canterbury Connecticut and Denver North Carolina. Open Studio events are held as listed in the events category.
